Alternatively, we can possibly accommodate your submission via email. Please follow the guidelines explained here and send your document to INPARENTHESESX[at]GMAIL[dot]COM.
How is my “GENERAL” submission different from my “PRINT” submission?
When submitting to the “PRINT” category your work will be considered ONLY for print publication in our quarterly release, unless we contact you directly. If you would like to submit to the “GENERAL” category outside of the reading periods outlined above, your work will be considered for publication online at the In Parentheses blog. There are cases where submissions to the blog are included in the following print issue–if this is the case we will contact you directly.
Would you consider my multimedia submission?
Please send all multimedia submissions to our email address with information about the piece(s) and creator. More information here.
Can I become a regular contributor to the blog?

From the Editor:
We hope that readers receive In Parentheses as a medium through which the evolution of human thought can be appreciated, nurtured and precipitated. It will present a dynamo of artistic expression, journalism, informal analysis of our daily world, entertainment of ideas considered lofty and criticism of today’s popular culture. The featured content does not follow any specific ideology except for that of intellectual expansion of the masses.
Founded in late 2011, In Parentheses prides itself upon analysis of the current condition of intelligence in the minds of these young people, and building a hypothesis for one looming question: what comes after Post-Modernism?
The idea for this magazine stems from a simple conversation regarding the aforementioned question, which drew out the need to identify our generation’s place in literary history.
