At about the midpoint between our very successful first issue and the highly anticipated October issue, we are looking to revamp the In Parentheses brand by opening a call to new contributors for the IP Blog. We see the blog as a very important connection to our public that runs alongside the print quarterly, and so we plan to normalize contributions to this blog with new, fresh faces/voices.
Ideally, we are looking for 3-5 talented and unique writers and artists that can adhere to a fairly loose, but regular schedule of contributing new and unpublished material. We in need of critics, poets, journalists, graphic artists, short story writers, and photographers. All members of the IP Team are guaranteed to have works included in print issues.
At this time, all of us at IP are unpaid writers who do it for the love of sublime art and for the thrill of exposure and spreading the growth of what we truly believe to be a flourishing magazine and online literary blog, among other In Parentheses endeavors.
